Marie is a licensed Clinical psychologist and has been licensed as a psychologist in the state of California since June 2002. She currently operates a private practice in Long Beach, California.

California State University Dominquez Hills and graduated suma cum laude with a major in psychology and a minor in Cross Cultural Anthropology.

Masters Degree in Applied Psychology from University of Santa Monica.

Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Ryokan College in Los Angles.

Post Graduate work and received certification in Consciousness Health and Healing.
Training and Experience:

Extensive training in trauma treatment from would renowned trainer Dr David Grand and Lisa Schwartz. Marie is certified in Brain Spotting and a great deal of her practice is focused in doing Dr. Grand’s work.

Marie has worked as part of an interdisciplinary team for Orange County Behavioral Health for over ten years. She was part of a team of psychologist, psychiatrics, and other medical professionals working in an inpatient setting.

She also worked for over three years in the prison system in Orange County as a therapist working with duel diagnosis inmates.

Marie has been a faculty at the University of Santa Monica since 1997. She has held several positions at the University including, Faculty Reader Leader, Project Reader in the second year, Co- teaching classes in the Counseling Professional Program and performing various other positions on faculty. She was awarded faculty angel of the year in 2006.
